For Event Planners
Decor from one shop, catering supplies from another, prizes from a third. Build a cart at each and send them as links your committee, client, or venue can load in one click — no spreadsheet of product URLs.
Events rarely come from a single retailer. Share-A-Cart works the same way at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco and hundreds more, so every supplier list is shared the same way instead of one being a spreadsheet and another a thread of links.
Hand the cart to whoever holds the budget. They open the link, see exactly what you picked with quantities intact, and check out — or remove the two things that blew the budget before they do.
Recurring galas, conferences, and seasonal events rarely change much. Save the cart, reopen it next cycle, swap what's different, and send it again instead of rebuilding the list from last year's invoices.
Makes shopping for a household much easier, no need for fifty texts of "hey can you put this in the grocery cart" or getting multiple separate orders from two amazons (which saves money alongside time).

Has really helped purchasing items for our educational program. Staff can easily send me their carts for approval and purchase. Highly recommend.

For my first experience I was easily able to create a Back-To-School supply list in a cart at Walmart and now can share it to incoming families.

I work at a middle school and I now have everyone use this to send me all of their supply requests. Much better than trying to sort through hundreds of links. Very valuable to my job.

One of the most useful chrome extensions I have ever seen. We order a lot of stuff from Robu, Mouser, and Digikey for my Ph.D. work. This extension comes in very handy when sharing the cart with third party vendors. Otherwise, it would have been a cumbersome process for these vendors to add an item manually one by one.

Worked as intended. Made my cart list for Prime day but husband had the Prime card on his account. Good idea!

Our company has been using Share-a-Cart for a couple of years now. It is extremely useful and saves us time. We purchase groceries for 20 senior living communities every week through Walmart and use Share-a-Cart as a support.

The app saves me a lot of time. For work I have to make weekly food orders and I can just save a basic order and add or delete from it the next week. It saves me from having to add 60 items to my cart every week. Also, I can send the cart to a coworker who can do the same. Sometimes we send it back and forth and collaborate. Great extension!

If the cart you’re sharing with them is from Amazon, BestBuy, B & H Photo, IKEA, Kroger (and networked grocers), Lowe's, MSC Direct, Shopify, or Walmart, the receiving person may use the Share-A-Cart website to receive your cart if they so prefer. All they need to do is enter the Cart ID you've sent them on the Receive a Cart page. For all other retailers, the receiving person will need to install and use the plugin to load your cart. This makes the whole process quicker and easier though as they don’t have to leave the retailer’s site when loading your cart.
With the plugin installed you don’t need to leave the Walmart site, you can just click on the plugin when ready to generate your cart ID and share instantly. It makes the process quicker and easier than having to go to the Share-A-Cart website but both achieve the same result; sharing your Walmart cart with someone for them to make and complete the purchase with a pre-loaded cart.
Share-A-Cart will always be free to use as our revenue comes from the retailers themselves who pay us a small % of each shared cart that is purchased with them. It’s a typical affiliate partnership which doesn’t cost you anything and doesn’t add any extra costs or hidden fees to the price of your cart.
As you might have noticed, using Share-A-Cart does not require a login. We do not store any personally identifiable information. Shopping lists only contain a unique id, but no information about who created it or who used it. You can find more information in our Privacy Policy .
